Ultrasound diagnostics physician, functional diagnostics physician, Candidate of Medical Sciences, highest qualification category in ultrasound diagnostics, instructor of practical sessions in professional retraining at the MEDTRAIN Training Center (Moscow). Temnova Valeria Aleksandrovna is a specialist with 23 years of experience, combining daily clinical work in pediatric surgery, ultrasound and functional diagnostics with active teaching and research activities.
She graduated from the Pirogov Russian State Medical University with a degree in Pediatrics (2002), completed a residency in pediatric surgery at the Moscow Research Institute of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (2004), and then primary retraining in ultrasound diagnostics (RSMU, 2006) and in functional diagnostics (MEDTRAIN Training Center, 2023).
She is the author of a doctoral (Candidate of Sciences) dissertation devoted to the clinical and echographic criteria for justifying treatment tactics in children with intestinal intussusception, and of a number of publications on the problems of pediatric ultrasound diagnostics and portal hypertension.
She regularly completes certification and thematic courses in ultrasound diagnostics at leading Russian centers (the Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, RMACPE, MSMSU, the Research and Practical Clinical Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine of the Moscow Health Department, the Bakulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, and others), including comprehensive ultrasound of the vascular system, echocardiography (including in children), ultrasound of the abdominal organs, head and neck, joints, soft tissues, as well as the capabilities of ultrasound diagnostics in emergency conditions.
In her work and in her classes at MEDTRAIN, Valeria Aleksandrovna emphasizes anatomy, a clear scanning technique, the interpretation of complex vascular, cardiological, and surgical cases, as well as a practice-oriented teaching format that helps physicians apply ultrasound and functional diagnostics confidently and safely in everyday clinical practice.
