  • Physical fundamentals, modes, and parameters of ultrasound in ophthalmology
  • Types of artifacts and methods of recognizing them
  • Pathology of the eyelids, conjunctiva and accessory apparatus of the eye
  • Cysts of Moll and Zeis glands, dermoid and atheromatous cysts, chalazia
  • Vascular tumors: capillary, cavernous, lymphangiomas
  • Tumors of the eyelids and periorbital region: melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, lymphoma, etc.

An introductory course on ultrasound of the eye and orbit. You will learn to perform the examination correctly, recognise key pathologies and understand when to refer the patient to an ophthalmologist.

Ultrasound diagnostics physician, obstetrician-gynecologist, lecturer at the "Medtrain" educational center. Sharifyanova Gulnara Fanilovna is a specialist with 13 years of experience, combining expertise in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and modern ultrasound diagnostics. She graduated from the faculty of pediatrics (2012), then completed training in obstetrics and gynecology (2013) and obtained a specialization in ultrasound diagnostics (2018).

She regularly enhances her qualifications in key areas: functional diagnostics, echocardiography and ultrasound angiology for cardiologists, ultrasound in gynecology, ultrasound angiology, ultrasound diagnostics of the musculoskeletal system according to international standards, obstetrics and gynecology, echocardiography in adult and pediatric practice with the diagnosis of congenital heart defects.

At the "Medtrain" training center, Gulnara Fanilovna is a lecturer at the practical school of ultrasound and functional diagnostics, conducting in-person and remote courses and internships, including ultrasound examination in ophthalmology and ultrasound diagnostics of abdominal organs.

In her teaching, she emphasizes a structured approach, international scanning standards, and analysis of real clinical cases, helping students confidently apply ultrasound methodology in obstetrics and gynecology, angiology, abdominal, and musculoskeletal diagnostics.
