Ultrasound diagnostics physician, assistant at the Department of Radiation Diagnostics of Gomel State Medical University (GSMU), member of the St. Petersburg Radiological Society. Yurkovsky Dmitry Sergeyevich is a specialist with 12 years of experience, combining clinical practice, teaching, and active participation in professional radiological communities.
In 2013 he graduated from Gomel State Medical University with a degree in Medical Diagnostics, and in 2014 he completed an internship in radiation diagnostics at the Minsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
He holds the highest qualification category in ultrasound diagnostics. In clinical practice he performs a wide range of examinations: ultrasound of the abdominal organs, the thyroid and mammary glands, soft tissues, large and small joints, the heart (echocardiography), brachiocephalic vessels, vessels of the lower limbs, renal arteries, peripheral nerves, as well as the pleural cavities and the prostate gland in adults and children.
Dmitry Sergeyevich works as an ultrasound diagnostics physician at the LODE medical center (Minsk) and actively participates in the educational projects of the Belarusian Society of Radiologists, where he delivers lectures and webinars on the ultrasound diagnostics of visceral artery and musculoskeletal pathology, and also serves as a moderator of sessions and master classes.
At the MEDTRAIN Training Center he leads a practical school on the ultrasound diagnostics of the musculoskeletal system, emergency conditions, and transesophageal echocardiography: he is the author and instructor of courses on ultrasound of the joints, tissues, and bones, ultrasound diagnostics in traumatology and orthopedics, the use of ultrasound in emergency conditions in adults, as well as programs in ultrasound angiology. In his teaching he emphasizes anatomy, functional tests, a clear scanning technique, and the analysis of complex clinical cases, helping students to confidently apply the ultrasound method in daily practice.
